Story of Fifi LaBonge

KEIKO HAYASHI’s namesake collection is inspired by a certain simplicity and quiet elegance.
Designed and handcrafted in 18K gold, the pieces are a reflection of the designer’s yearning for timeless elegance while imbuing sparkle and flair.

Born and raised in Japan, Keiko Hayashi has always brought a demure approach to her work. Paired with her meticulous attention to detail, she creates pieces that are not only beautiful but also highly versatile. Her jewelry designs attract a refined woman that can wear her jewelry from the boardroom and then layer it for an evening out. Set in gold and paired with precious stones, including sapphires, diamonds and opals, each piece is uniquely designed and handcrafted in Los Angeles. After working in finance in New York City, Keiko decided to move west to San Francisco where she worked in mergers and acquisitions for a French video game company.

One day she stumbled into a jewelry bead store and her childhood passion for creating meticulous handicrafts was reignited. She first started creating necklaces, bracelets and eventually earrings and organically a new collection emerged. An opportunity arose for her to move to Hawaii and she took it.

Three weeks after settling in Honolulu she found a showroom space and opened her first retail location selling her pieces.
As her company grew and matured, the editors in the fashion world started to take notice. The world of fashion beckoned and magazines such as Vogue and Glamour and Brides Magazines were all vying to feature her work That is when she decided to make the move to Los Angeles.

The Keiko Hayashi collection is available exclusively online. Keiko’s work has been featured in the world’s top fashion magazines and has been featured on numerous fashion blogs around the world.
